Abiodun Koya, a Nigerian-born classical singer and soprano, is the creative force behind Christmas Opera. She is known as the Presidents’ and Kings’ singer since she has sung for Presidents and Vice Presidents of the United States, Nigeria, Senegal, Ghana, Liberia, and Côte d’Ivoire, as well as at the White House, the US Presidential Inauguration, and the Democratic National Convention. Abiodun Koya is the only African opera singer to appear on Bobby Jones Gospel, a BET gospel series.
